TRANSFER International Literary and Arts Festival
Literature and Gastronomy
15-18/10/2015
The 8th edition of Transfer Festival - organized by the Petőfi Literary Museum (PIM) - focuses on the relationship between contemporary literature and gastronomy, examining what roles food and gastronomy play in literary works today as well as in our everyday lives.
TRANSFER 2015 main events – round table discussions, talks, lectures, literary readings, book launches, public debates - explore the connections between gastronomy and literature, introduce authors and experts, while multidisciplinary events from concerts to city walks bring exciting new approaches.
TRANSFER aims at entering into a conversation with its audience through a colourful and engaging series of events. We promote a culture of interdisciplinary dialogue through highlighting interrelations between art forms and similarities in their current trends and most urging questions. TRANSFER participants reflect on and provoke reflection on the role of culture in our life.
